HISTORY

In 1989, Paul Jackson, at age 28, underwent surgery to remove a tumor from his spinal cord. Paul, a life-long athlete, was left paralyzed. When the insurance company would not cover his rehabilitation program, the medical bills began to mount. His family and friends along with community members rallied together to raise money for Paul. THE PAUL JACKSON FUND

...is a tax-exempt charity that serves as a resource of last resort for individuals and families facing a financial crisis due to a debilitating long-term illness or disability. The Fund provides grants to qualifying individuals in the tri-state area (NY, NJ & CT) for health-related needs as well as for family and household needs. Applications are accepted and evaluated year-round by The Fund. Grants are awarded on as-needed basis.
